WHAT IS MAHJONG?

American Mahjong is a fun and complex tile game played with 4 people. It is a variant of Chinese Mahjong with a main difference being the American version uses a National Mahjong League Card. There are 3 suits: dots, bams, cracks. Other tiles include flowers, winds, and jokers (everyone’s favorite tile!) Played draw and discard tiles hoping to match their 14 tiles to one of the lines on the card. The first person to do so says, “Mahjong!"
